To: The General Public
It has come to the notice of the Management of Youth Web Company Limited (Organizers of the Universal Merchant Bank Ghana Tertiary Awards) that we are partnering an award scheme aside the UMB GTA, which is headlined by the UNIVERSAL MERCHANT BANK.
We wish to inform the General Public especially all the 389,898 students that we are not Connected with any awards scheme as the only Biggest Awards Festival in AFRICA [ UMB GTA ] is organized by us only.
Our Awards scheme goes through careful selection of nominees across the country through all the verification systems laid down by our Board. We don’t not select nominees by just posting their pictures and selecting the most liked or viewed. We select students in a way that when they win they feel derseving of their hard work.
The Credibility of the Universal Merchant Bank Ghana Tertiary Awards has been very important to us hence the 5years smooth running of the scheme and Ghana indeed has benefited from all the winners we have produced since 2014.
We entreat the general public to take note that we haven’t partnered any television program to produce a duplicate of the UMB GTA with our “EXACT CATEGORIES” which went through thorough research and consultation before each opened of nominations.
We don’t not however have a problem with any organization who want to serve the Ghanaian student with an alternative awards platform to help motivate students but what we are completely opposed to any one who is “copy and paste “ and is deliberately picking people direct concepts all the time and messing it up with fraudulent means to dupe students which evidence has shown by the complaints most students who have patronize such initiatives of these people in the past.
This Statement was necessary Because of the many complaints and questions we have received wether or not we were partners to the scheme since it’s virtually took all our categories “dito dito”.
We are however going to support any unique and creative brand that comes up with similar initiatives like ours with the sole aim of helping Ghana and AFRICA as a whole because we even need such initiatives for our competitive marketing analysis data.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused students of our 146 Tertiary Institutions. The UMB GHANA TERTIARY AWARDS 2018 @umbgta2018 artwork will be out soon.
